Zachary Murray: Three Game Points Streak (two goals, two assists) since 2021-10-23

Despite not being named Forward of the Month for October, it didn’t stop forward Jake Black from being named as an Honorable Mention. The former East Division Star of the Week from October 11-17 has put up some amazing numbers in the month of October. Putting up at least one point in every game except for one. A total of eight goals and six assists would be added to the right handed shooter's resume for 2021-22.

The 5’11” Pomfret, Connecticut native currently sits first place in the NAHL for goals and points streaks. Scoring eight goals and putting up 10 points from Oct 8th-Oct 22nd. All that hard work would earn him to announce his commitment back in late October to play DI hockey at the University of Connecticut for next season.

Last week, the Johnstown Tomahawks announced that they have tendered forwards Zach Aben, and Ryan O’Connell. Both who play for Mount St. Charles U18 of the NEPACK 18U.

Zach Aben is a native of Dallas, PA, but born in Shavertown, PA on December 12th, 2003. He stands at 5’10” and weighs 185 pounds. So far in six games this season with Mount St. Charles, the left handed shooter has put up three goals and three assists. Aben was selected in the NAHL Entry Draft back in 2019, when he was drafted by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in round seven (165th overall).

Ryan O’ Connell is a native of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, born in Moorestown, NJ on October 23rd, 2003. He also stands 5’10”, but O’Connell weighs 175 pounds. This year for Mount St. Charles, the left handed shot has three goals and two assists in seven games this season.

Welcome to the team Zach and Ryan!!
