Game one on Friday night saw a really great game in front of 2,552. Northeast took a 2-0 lead after the first 20 minutes. From there it was all but close, both teams were tied 3-3 after two. From there, Sean Ramsay lit up the game winner late in the third period. Johnstown walked out of the series opener with a 4-3 win over the Generals. Jacob Badal tailed two assists, as Sam Evola stopped 20/23, earning him the win. https://www.johnstowntomahawks.com/stats/game-center/32322 Game two last night saw pretty much the exact same results, just a bit different. Northeast took a 2-0 lead after one. The Generals held the lead after 40 with the score being 3-2. From there, Frank Jenkins scored a power-play goal to tie it at 3. The game needed a shootout as OT wasn’t enough. It was a nail bitter all the way from start to finish. In the end, Jenkins scored the game winning goal in the fourth round. Sweeping the series and taking home another 4-3 win. https://www.johnstowntomahawks.com/stats/game-center/32323 HEAD TO HEAD - all stats as of 01/01/2022 JOHNSTOWN East Division Rank: 3rd Record: 16-11-2-1 Points: 35 Leading Goal Scorer: Jake Black (20 Goals) Leading Assists Scorer: Jacob Badal (20 Assists) Leading Points Scorer: Jake Black (39 Points) Leading +/-: Jake Black (+16) Top Goalie: Sam Evola (12-7-1-0, 3.02 GAA, 0.907 SV%, 1,239 MIN) JAMESTOWN East Division Rank: 5th Record: 13-13-2-1 Points: 29 Leading Goal Scorer: John Lundy (13 Goals) Leading Assists Scorer: Jak Vaarwerk (18 Assists) Leading Points Scorer: John Lundy (23 Points) Leading +/-: Carter Casper (+6) Top Goalie: Jon Howe (5-4-0-0, 2.55 GAA, 0.917 SV%, 1 SO, 612 MIN)
