Sitting Bulls Return To 1ST SUMMIT ARENA For Annual Fundraiser Game w/Local Celebrities & Educators

The Johnstown Sitting Bulls took to the ice at 1ST SUMMIT ARENA Sunday afternoon for their annual game against local celebrities and educators. This year saw a little bit of an interesting twist, as both teams were mixed with players from the Sitting Bulls, and celebrities and educators.

Our first period was all but one sided for the white team. As during the 20 minute frame, Sitting Bulls player, Ethan Buchkovich, scored twice, making it 2-0 heading into the second period.

The other side got their crack at the board midway through. As 2002 Paralympic goal medalist, Josh Wirt, got the goal for team dark to make it 2-1. Team white shortly responded with a goal off the stick of Wesley Hunter a 1:14 later. Team white found the back of the net again, but it was called off by referee, Brian Kauffman, as the net was dislodged. The waved called wouldn't stop them, as minutes later, Hunter feed one over to Ryan Breton. The game was now at 3-1 for team white as we headed into the final period.

Throughout the period, team white goaltender, Boston Bradley, son of former Chiefs goaltender, John Bradley, made some unreal saves in net. As the PA mentioned: "Now that is what you call a highway robbery." The assistant coach from Bishop McCort ended the game stopping 20/22, as one more goal was score from team dark, off the stick of Lorenzo Favor. Team white took it at a final score of 4-2. Team dark goaltender, Ron Spory,

stopped 7/11.
