Congratulations to Tomahawks goaltender Josh Graziano, who will be playing NCAA D1 hockey at the University of Notre Dame starting in 2021-22.
Before joining Johnstown, the NAHL veteran goalie was recently with the New Mexico Ice Wolves in the South Division, going 4-14-0-3. Since being acquired by the Tomahawks via trade in February, Graziano has completely turned his game around with an 11-1-0-2 record.
Graziano was previously committed to Union College for the 2020-21 season. However, due to COVID, the season would be canceled, allowing Grazi to come back to the NAHL for his final season of eligibility. Boy was that a good decision!
Head Coach Mike Letizia stated the following:
“I couldn’t be happier for Josh and his new opportunity at Notre Dame, Their program and university have been a model of excellence. Since joining our team in February, Josh has been such a fantastic addition with helping fuel more success for us.”
Josh Graziano stated the following:
“I’m excited to take the next step in my hockey career and to join such a prestigious university and program as Notre Dame, I’m looking forward to my future with the Fighting Irish. I am so thankful for my family, friends, coaches, and teammates who have helped me get to where I am today.”
Congratulations to Tomahawks goaltender Liam Gross, and forward Will Margel for being mentioned as honorable mentions in this week's NAHL Bauer Stars of the Week.

He would end his first game by getting the win in net in the Tomahawks 7-2 win over the Jr. Hat Tricks. He would stop a total of 32/34 shots in the game's full 60 minutes.
After registering no points in game one of the three-game series against Danbury, forward Will Margel would respond by putting up a total of six points in the remaining two games of the series. The University of New Hampshire commit would put up two assists, along with the game-winning goal in overtime in the Tomahawks 3-2 win in game two.
