Less than 20 games remain on the 2021-22 campaign, and Johnstown will be looking to claim more points in the standings to keep them in the race for a spot in the post-season. This weekend they remain at home for yet another two-game series with the Jamestown Rebels rolling into town.

Last weekend, Jamestown took on the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks at home for a two-gamer, and it was all but Rebels throughout the entire series. As they took the series sweep in the set of games.

Game one saw Jamestown take a huge 7-0 win over the Jr. Hat Tricks. With John Lundy (F) taking home five points (2G, 3A), Jak Vaarwerk (F) taking home three points (1G, 2A), and Joshua Burke (D) taking home four assists.

GAME TWO STATS

Johnstown comes into this series after splitting a two-gamer at home against the Maine Nordiques last weekend, though they'd claim three out of four points. Game one saw the Hawks going into the second period with a 5-0 lead over Maine. However they'd end up on the losing side, as the Nordiques came back to score six goals on the Tomahawks, earning the victory in overtime.

GAME ONE STATS

Game two saw a hard fought battle from start to finish. Johnstown trailed 4-1 halfway through the third, but picked up three unanswered goals to tie the game up, as the series saw yet another overtime. Eventually, a shootout was needed, and from there, Hawks forward Stephen Kyrkostas scored the lone goal in the three rounds. Giving Johnstown the 5-4 victory over Maine, with Dominik Wasik (G) gaining the win in net, stopping 25/29.
