Johnstown Generals Holding Fundraiser Game For Fallen Warriors Parent

Written by: David Nicoletti

On October 28th, 2020, the adult league Warriors in conjunction with the youth hockey Warrior Program and the Johnstown Generals will be holding a fundraising event at 7:10 pm at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial.

The charity game is in honor of a junior Johnstown Warrior player who recently lost their father in a tragic accident. Tickets for the game will go on sale the night of the event. The cost of admission is a monetary donation. All funds raised will benefit the youth hockey player.

There will be 1,250 tickets available for the game. Once again, all you need to do to receive a ticket is donate at the gate.

If you or anyone you know loves hockey, you should definitely consider talking to them about going to this game. I spoke to John this past Monday on the phone. After we ended our conversation about the game, I knew how much this charity game would mean to him and the rest of the Generals and Warriors players for the city of Johnstown to come out and support a great cause.

Your donations will for sure help this little kid with all that he's been going through. A donation for a ticket to see some great hockey. How can you beat that?! So come out to the War Memorial on October 28th and watch the charity game between the Johnstown Generals and the Johnstown Warriors. Once again, a donation equals admission, and you will not be disappointed, and you'll be helping a local family in need of support during these difficult times for them.
