Before the third period began, defenseman Spencer Evans for Danbury would receive a game misconduct for abuse to the official. Danbury would cut the lead to one once again from Hat Tricks leading scorer Mark D’Agostino’s stick. Johnstown would, however, soon respond with Matt McQuade tallying his second of the game.
