Written by: David NIcoletti
Matthew Meier was a forward for the Johnstown Tomahawks back during their second season in 2013-14. A bright young talented player from the city of Highlands Ranch who would go on to play in the USHL and commit to playing NCAA Division I hockey. But today, it’s not all about that, Matthew and his family need your help.
Matthew’s mother, Tammy Meier, a lifetime hockey mom of two, was diagnosed this past February with stage IV, ovarian cancer. After hearing the news, turning her and her family’s world upside down, Tammy is dedicated and optimistic with a fighting desire to beat this.
Below is a link where you can donate to Tammy and the Meier family, to help beat this disease. There, you can also learn more information.
So let’s all stand, come together, and help a member of our Tomahawks family get through this, one step at a time. DONATE NOW!
